"First, I put on the Dr. Schammerek Blemish balm and let it sit for a minute to allow the cream to melt into my skin. I used the color honey, but we also carry the bb cream in the color classic. The BB cream is excellent to use in place of a cc cream or foundation because it is medicated. Therefore, if you have acne prone skin this product will actually help clear up your skin instead of causing irritation and flare ups like other foundations. Because it’s medicated, it’s good for all skin types and tones. The blemish balm blends to match your skin tone. Not only is it medicated, the BB cream also has SPF in it, so it will protect your skin from harmful UV Rays and prevent sun damage Also, if you want a lighter layer of product on your face, you can always mix the BB cream with a moisturizer. We have the PCA Rebalance here in the studio that mixes really well with the BB Cream.
Next, I applied our Novalash Eyeliner. The Novalash Eyeliner is a black and creamy eyeliner pencil that glides very smoothly. Not only is the eyeliner easy to apply, but it is also water resistant and has a 24-hour life span for each application.
After I apply my eyeliner, I like to fill in my eyebrows. I use the Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil to achieve a bold but natural eyebrow look. The brow pencil is mechanical and has a blending brush on one end. The universal color is designed to match all eyebrow colors and shapes. Like the Novalash Eyeliner, the Universal Brow Pencil is also wearable for 24 hours and is water resistant.
After I fill in my brows, I use the Novalash Mascara to accentuate my eyelashes. The Novalash Mascara is made from beeswax and is glycol free. Other mascaras have glycols in them which dry out the eyelashes and dehydrate them, whereas the beeswax the Novalash Mascara infuses into the lashes and moisturizes them as well as promotes growth. Last but not least, I will be adding a pop of color to my lips. I will be using the G.M Collin Lip Plumping Complex in Rose. This is my favorite product that we sell here at the studio! It is literally lip filler in a bottle. The lip complex infuses collagen into your lips to plump them and add volume. Also, the lip complex has hyaluronic acid in it which moisturizes your lips. Not to mention, the rose color is beautiful and is just the perfect color for a natural look.
