Before Session

Exfoliate 24–48 hours before with a pH-balanced scrub
We cannot over-stress the importance of pre-session exfoliation —this helps your color absorb evenly and last longer. Any type of sugar, salt or other manual scrub will do! **Also schedule workouts, waxing and mani/pedis BEFORE your tanning appointment. -
Pro tip: the Dermasuri we sell works wonders!

Avoid using harsh bar soaps, high pH shower products or in-shower moisturizers. These products can neutralize the DHA bronzing reaction within the skin.

After shaving, make sure to cleanse area if razor has soap bars - they leave a residue!
Day of Session

Avoid lotions, oils, makeup, and deodorant before your tan. Skip lotions, makeup, perfumes, and deodorant before your session—clean, product-free skin ensures your tan develops evenly and lasts longer.

Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment. Tight clothing can rub or smear bronzers, especially around the knees, elbows, chest and waist.

After Session Care

Avoid soaps for 24 hours—rinse with warm water only, then use gentle, pH-balanced products to extend your glow. Pools, scrubs, and harsh soaps can fade results.

Don’t forget SPF—sunless tans don’t protect from UV.
